Michigan Society of Medical Assistants

Committed. Credentialed. Caring.

The mission of the Michigan Society of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assistant professionals to: enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect the medical assistant’s right to practice; and promote effective, efficient, and safe healthcare delivery through the optimal use of skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

In alignment with this mission, our members actively engage in community service initiatives across the state. By volunteering their time and expertise, they support public health efforts, promote wellness education, and address local needs. These contributions reflect the compassion, leadership, and commitment to service that define the medical assisting profession.
